Over the past twelve years, ARMDS has provided assistance to hospitals increasing their Charity Care subsidies while maintaining compliance with state regulations. The Vice President and Director developed the current regulations while working for the Department of Health and Senior Services in the 1990s. Through our continuous contact with the state, we provide our clients with the most up to date interpretations by the DHSS.
ARMDS screens patients for Charity Care either on site, Day 1, or at any point after discharge, and
works all accounts. Our Staff learns interviewing techniques and customer service skills so patients
feel comfortable with the process. With offices statewide, we have the capability of visiting patients
both in and out of the Hospital's neighborhood. In addition, we have adequate staff to assist our
clients in a crisis or a last minute "crunch" situation.
