December 10th, 2008 - Medicaid and Uncompensated Care Education Sessions

Presented by the NJ HFMA Membership Committee

This seminar will be taught by ARMDS Vice President, Rita Romeu, along with Sean Hopkins and Roger Sarao of the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA), and several other healthcare professionals.  The course is designed for individuals who are either new to the healthcare industry or those wishing to gain a better understanding of potential reimbursement sources for uninsured patients.  The following topics will be covered: History of Medicaid and Charity Care; Programs for the Uninsured; Reimbursement Calculations; DSH and SSI; and the Role of Managed Medicaid Insurers.
